August 30: Cable TV comes to 10 Buick St.
For those living in the Student Residences at 10 Buick St., the days of tin foil and rabbit ears seem to be gone. Numerous students moving into the Student Village said Monday that they found functional cable television in their rooms. Student Union President Jon Marker confirmed that cable is on its way to campus, but was unsure whether it had been installed. Be sure to pick up Friday’s Orientation Issue or the semester’s first edition on Tuesday, Sept. 7 for more details on this developing story.
