BU hopes for 4,195 new frosh

Boston University’s Class of 2008 is projected to have almost 500 more students than the class of 2007, an increase of almost 13 percent, according to Office of Admissions statistics. The Class of 2007 was originally expected to have 3,695 students, and the Class of 2008 is projected to have 4,175, Director of Admissions Kelly Walter said.

Shute’s late goal lifts BU to win over UMass

The “shot heard ’round the world” started a revolution outside Boston more than 200 years ago, and the shot that silenced the Minutewomen Wednesday could be the beginning of a Boston University field hockey revolution as well.
