BU students featured in Kotex commercial
Several Boston University students became stars of a recent Kotex commercial by attending Kotex’s “What Fits U Experience” event at CollegeFest and reciting pre-written lines about what “fits” them. The commercial is currently shown on Facebook.com and will be featured during AMC Fenway’s previews starting Oct.
Seniors weigh post-graduation choices as deadlines approach
With undergraduate debts and financial independence looming over some seniors’ heads after graduation, many Boston University students are considering the pros and cons of going immediately to graduate school, embarking on a career or taking time off after college.
Dining hall theft causes conflict
After finishing meals at Boston University’s Fresh Food Co. dining hall, College of General Studies sophomore Elliott Gordon said he often wraps up an extra sandwich to store in his West Campus dorm for late-night hunger pangs. “I figure I’m paying for any dining hall food I eat,” he said, noting that buying supermarket food for his room gets expensive.
RIAA to sue 745 more students
The Recording Industry Association of America released a new wave of lawsuits Wednesday against 745 individuals at 17 colleges, including Boston University – marking the third series of suits to hit the Charles River Campus within a year. The lawsuit, which represents multiple major record companies, is a continuation from its most recent action against several college students filed Sept.
