Play at the Plate
As an always-important home-and-away series against BC this Friday and Saturday looms, many of the Boston University men’s hockey faithful have no idea what to expect from their men’s hockey team. This team has been a model of inconsistency this season, ranging from great to downright poor.
Terriers’ roster being filed down bit by bit
The Terrier bench is a little roomier now. As a result of everything that the Boston University men’s basketball team endured up to and during Tuesday night’s game, the Terriers’ active roster is in decline. With the University of Rhode Island handing BU its fourth consecutive loss, the team has yet to record a win.
Battered by the Rams
Overmatched is one thing. Undermanned is quite another. The BU men’s basketball team was the latter as it dropped its fourth straight game Tuesday night, falling to the University of Rhode Island, 48-38, at Agganis Arena and likely losing sophomore guard Matt Wolff to a season-ending injury.
BU in for a Wild one
When you’ve lost your last five away games, the thought of going on the road might start to bring on a bit of a queasy feeling in the pit of your stomach. But don’t tell that to the Boston University women’s hockey team. Despite losing their last five on the road, the women came back last weekend with a home sweep of Robert Morris University and look to continue their winning ways and begin a new streak tonight as they travel north and take on the No.
Perspective: The Union’s failure to represent its students
Like most Boston University students, I rarely raise my voice anymore in the effort to make life better on campus. I’ve given up. The Boston University administration, it feels, has won the war against students and I won’t see any significant changes in my time on Commonwealth Avenue.
