Japanese professor Zenryu Shirakawa dies Monday of unknown causes
Boston University Japanese professor Zenryu Shirakawa was discovered to have died of unknown causes this weekend in his home after beign absent from class Monday morning. He was 63. Shirakawa, who lived in Revere, missed his Japanese civilization class Monday morning, prompting three students to inquire about his whereabouts to the modern foreign languages and literatures department.
Friends of deceased GRS student share memories of his life
The recent death of Graduate School of Arts and Sciences international student Zhizhang He left a permanent mark on his closest friends, who said they were practically a second family to him at Boston University. He’s two closest friends, Rui Li and Yin Chen, said he was one of the most optimistic and hardworking students they ever knew.
BU grad student dies Sunday in Allston apartment
Boston University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences student Zhizhang He died Sunday at his Allston apartment of currently unknown causes. He was 22. According to the Boston Police Department, He was pronounced dead at his apartment at 5:12 p.m. by Boston Emergency Medical Technicians.
