Runners tune up at Harvard Invite

It may be finals week for most Boston University students, but for the men’s and women’s indoor track and field teams, it’s just the beginning. After Saturday’s Harvard Invitational in Cambridge, the Terrier teams are only starting to hit full stride. That’s because the Harvard Invitational was just the second meet for each team, after BU opened its season at Northeastern University’s Dec.

First line falling into groove

HANOVER, N.H. – When Brad Zancanaro scored five goals, including three game-winners, in three games to finish the fall semester last year, it was tough to imagine the 5-foot, 5-inch forward could ever top such an outburst. But he made a pretty compelling case to do just that in finishing this year’s first half.

There and Back Again

I woke up early. My head was pounding as if inside there was a little orchestra of fourth graders butchering “Hot Cross Buns” in a private concert for my brain. I fixed myself an egg to settle my stomach. I like my eggs like I like my women: over-easy. GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF, I yelled at the orchestra.

The Campus Conservative

Since I came to Boston University a year and a half ago, I’ve spent a lot of time debating which is worse: being a Yankee fan in Boston or being a Republican in Boston. I’ve come to realize that I like both. Neither of these things really isolates me. New Yorkers are, to say the least, well represented at this school.

Staff Edit: The ignored problem

Too often, underage drinking is passed off as a major problem among Boston University students, while another problem – and potentially a much larger one – is left almost completely ignored. This problem is BU’s drug trade, and the Boston University Police Department is doing about as much to solve this problem as President Bush is doing for global warming.
