Halliburton CEO of the U>S.A.

I am a retired Aero Space Engineer From St. Louis University.

I am very concerned that our boys in Washington don’t have a plan and are making matters worse. See the article below.

I read your publication from time to time to keep up with thought in other parts.

I am offering this piece for one time publication.

Questions appreciated:

Halliburton somehow put their team in place in the Executive Branch of our government to ensure their dominance over all oil related matters in Iraq.

This position of dominance canceled Iraq’s contracts with France, Germany and Russia to help fill Iraq’s oil needs. Iraq has the second highest oil reserves in the world and is currently supplying only up to three percent of the world supply. (There’s lots of money to be made in the next 50 years).

Now, Mr. Rumsfeld Secretary of Defense, on loan to Halliburton assured us that this peace effort “won’t cost you any money”.” “Iraq has plenty of oil to pay for our peace initiative”. “So we don’t need help from those Old World Countries”.

Please, Neocons don’t bother to respond. I know that you don’t remember Rumsfeld saying that.

Now, our government would like for France, Germany and Russia to help us out a bit in Iraq by supplying incidentals such as troops, equipment and money. Halliburton guarantees them that we won’t require their help in the messy oil business.

Halliburton argues that it is to the Europeans advantage to help bring calm to the Peace Effort we started. Understandably this galls these stodgy old countries since they told Halliburton in the first place their Peace Program would cause big problems. Also a couple of U.S. Generals shared these types of thoughts with Halliburton and assistant Rumsfeld.

The U.S. has a good chance to get the support from France Germany and Russia providing they send Condi Rice to Europe with more than a nice smile.

Condi arrives in Europe with a nice smile plus a proposition that Halliburton is offering three fourths of it’s potential oil business to Germany France and Russia and will retain one fourth of the oil business for it’s self just as a good will gesture.

Condi can pull this off, even though Germany is convinced that everything Halliburton and its Executive Branch have done in Iraq is continually placing the Western World in increasing danger.

This is a realistic proposal though, considering the way things are going in Iraq, Halliburton will be asked to leave Iraq after the elections and the Old World Countries that understood Iraqi society will reap their just rewards including Halliburton’s share.
