BU filmmaker, actress speak on experiences
More than 60 students crammed into the College of Communication’s room B-05 Friday night to catch a screening of Mutual Appreciation, a film directed by Boston University film production professor Andrew Bujalski starring COM alum Rachel Clift. Mutual Appreciation is the story of three friends’ quest to form a two-person band in New York City.
Music festival highlights local bands, raises money
More than 150 students gathered at Friday’s Amnesty International-sponsored “Jamnesty: A Jam for Justice,” which used music as a medium to promote human rights. The event, in Metcalf Hall, showcased local bands as a backdrop while attendees participated in letter writing campaigns against violence in Nigeria and at Guantanamo Bay.

Students offer 24 hours of comedy for Help Now
With the help of flying pink elephants, Disney songs and Harry Potter references, Liquid Fun, Boston University’s only non-audition improvisation comedy group, and ten other comedy acts from the Boston area kept a rotating audience of five to 50 people laughing for 24 hours during the 24 Hour Comedy Marathon at the Sargent Activities Center.
Teacher blog rates students
As if grades weren’t enough to make students anxious, a new website inspired by the popular RateMyProfessors.com, may make some students quiver. RateYourStudents.blogspot.com, created as the professor’s answer to RateMyProfessors.com, allows professors to log on and vent their daily frustrations.
