New motto may help BU finish strong on court
A team that loves using mottos to aid the flow of its season, the Boston University women’s basketball team has devised yet another saying for the final push. This time it’s more of a number than a motto, but the concept is still the same. Exactly one week ago, the team decided its latest slogan would be “six.
Mouth of the South
Before Friday night I had been to four wrestling events in my life: one in high school (I had a soccer game right before it), two WWE shows (I hawked cotton candy) and one Boston University meet my freshman year of college (I lived in West Campus and some of my friends dragged me to it).
Running circles around America East
The Boston University women’s track team defeated all comers – including the other eight teams in the America East – this weekend to capture the conference championship. Junior Abbey Sadowski starred for the Terriers at the America East Conference Indoor Track and Field Championship – held at the Track and Tennis Center – winning the mile run and the 1000-meter race.
Women to end inaugural season against nation’s best
It was an adventurous journey filled with some expected downs and some unexpected ups. But it will all end tonight, when the Boston University women’s ice hockey team will play its final game of the season against the No. 1 University of New Hampshire at the Whittemore Center in Durham, N.
The Penultimate Word
To beard or not to beard, that is the question. Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to shave off this mortal stubble or … grow it out. The beard, that is. It’s a question that faces us all each morning as we run out the door to class. Or skip class, as the case may be.
