BU should wrap up title against NU
Tomorrow, March is here. And while the basketball-loving nation we live in makes plentiful predictions for a field of 65, at Boston University, the brackets that matter are a little smaller — like Hockey East’s eight-team bracket, and the 16-team summit that will convene for a trip to Milwaukee in a few short weeks.
Yale yields to BU in 4-3 win
The Boston University women’s tennis team won a hard-fought match — one that came down to the very last set — against Yale University on Sunday in a 4-3 victory at the Track and Tennis Center, running its overall record to 6-3 (2-0 America East). The first doubles team of sophomore Gina Sabatino and senior captain Monica Shepherd began the day with an impressive 8-1 victory.

Women, James jump foes
Heading into the New England Championships last Friday and Saturday at the Track and Tennis Center, the Boston University men’s and women’s indoor track and field teams didn’t aim to put on a show. In many ways, however, the Terriers did just that. Citing more important upcoming meets, Robyne Johnson, coach of both the men’s and women’s teams, gave many BU athletes the weekend off.
Letters to the Editor: Outright ban on abortion is unlikely
I would like to take issue with The Daily Free Press’s editorial on Monday, Feb. 27, “Challenging Roe v. Wade” (p.6). First of all, I am pro-choice, but I think that you have gotten quite a few issues wrong. The first is the idea that people in Washington should be dealing with this issue, not the people of South Dakota.
