PASQUALE: Dreaming of ads for BU athletics

I have dreams. Most of these dreams occur late at night and sometimes they are very scary. These nightmares range from me irreparably scuffing my newest pair of Air Force Ones to Peter MacArthur admitting he was just joking when he guaranteed a national championship by the time he graduates.

Offense key for Terriers in tourney

The 2006 America East men’s soccer tournament kicks off this Saturday with two games. No. 5 Boston University visits No. 4 University at Albany and No. 3 University of New Hampshire hosts No. 6 Stony Brook University. The following is a team-by-team breakdown of the field of six.

Four Terriers compete in W. tennis regional

Four players from the Boston University women’s tennis team qualified for this weekend’s Intercollegiate Tennis Association Northeast Regional, but failed to have a strong showing in the tournament held at Dartmouth University. An ITA committee chose players from a pool of 86 teams in the northeast to see who would compete in the regional tournament.

Crimson are coming

The Boston University field hockey team will host another Boston rival at Jack Barry Field today when it battles Harvard University at 3 p.m. The game is the Terriers’ penultimate regular season game. The Crimson enter the game just 2-12 on the season, with no wins in its five away games.

PERSPECTIVE: Cape Wind is a bird hazard

As jury duty serves to remind us, there comes a time when each and every one of us should answer the call for the greater good. This call arrived for me more than three years ago when I first recognized that the developer of the Cape Wind project was serious.
