Terriers Down Dartmouth, 3-0, in Schaeffer’s Return to Ice
Less than a month after being hospitalized after an off-campus attack, Kevin Schaeffer made his return to the ice for the No. 9 Boston University hockey team in grand fashion. The senior defenseman scored an empty-netter, his second goal of the year, to cap off BU’s 3-0 win over host Dartmouth College in the Ledyard Bank Classic.

Men’s Basketball Falls to St. John’s in OT
The Boston University men’s basketball team lost in overtime to St. John’s University Red Storm, 45-44, tonight at Madison Square Garden in New York City. WTBU Cuts Hours After Members Violated Security Policy
WTBU will significantly cut back on operating hours next semester after several of the student radio station’s members were caught drinking in the studio and left an outside door propped open Dec. 9, violating a security policy implemented by the administration before the fall 2006 semester. The incident occurred in the early morning hours of Dec. 9 when two disc jockeys had several guests in the station, which is located on the third floor of the College of Communication building.
Beat of the Street
Walking down the steps into the station, the sounds of a familiar finger-picked song introduction echo between the in and outbound Ts. Armed with a guitar and smooth voice that puts a new spin on the Grateful Dead classic “Friend of the Devil,” recent Berklee College of Music graduate Lucas Carpenter busks on the Green Line platform at the Park Street Station as Boston’s nine-to-fivers make their home.
