One regular season ends…
The end of the regular season is looming over Northeast college hockey powers, but the Hockey East playoff picture is still just as foggy as Conte Forum during a warm day in early December. The entire league still has a weekend set to play — minus No. 5 Boston University (18-6-9, 13-5-8 Hockey East) and Northeastern University (8-13-5, 12-16-5), who will finish off their regular seasons tonight at Matthews Arena (7:30 p.
Terriers close out regular season at home against Bearcats
The Boston University women’s basketball team hopes to close out an up-and-down regular season tonight with a win when they take on Binghamton University (7 p.m.) at Case Gymnasium. BERKOWITZ: The Smoker’s Lament

In January, the average low in the city of Boston is 22 degrees Fahrenheit, according to Weather.com. Since I’ve lived here my entire life, that is, unfortunately, a statistic I cannot forget. So, while making last year’s Christmas wish-list (which my parents demanded I make), the frost-bitten memories reminded me to include “boots” and “scarf” next to “pajamas” and “iTunes gift card” on the list.
