State of domination
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — And here, the impossible career comes to rest. It almost certainly will continue into the pros, after some team throws the right pitch or amount of money to lure the talent. How far his pro career spans, that’s to be seen. LETTER: Praise for birth control advocate’s work
n While I was glad to see the recent article on Bill Baird (“40 years after BU, Baird still active, Mar. 22, p. 1) I was disappointed to note he was referred to as an “abortion rights activist.” Bill Baird is (and was) much more, and his legacy deserves to be acknowledged.
HINES: LaRouche vs. MassPIRG

SPENCER: A field guide to BU’s finest men
Some people complain that there are no straight men at Boston University. That’s a cheap stereotype. There are plenty of straight men at BU, all of whom I have cheaply stereotyped for you to provide a sloppy field map to your options. Ya-Dudes! A/S/L: Also known as BU Bros; you can hear them shout “Ya dude!” from the beer pong table across the room.
EDITORIAL: Getting personal
In today’s information age, politicians vying for office often feel the need to divulge personal information to the public before opponents have the chance. On Saturday, former senator John Edwards officially announced his wife’s ongoing battle with breast cancer would not keep him out of the 2008 presidential race.
