Corrections
Corrections In a news story Thursday (“A mix of work and personal lives for married profs.,” page 3), it was incorrectly stated due to a reporting error that English professor Maurice Lee is married to English professor Susan Mizruchi. Lee is actually married to Marisa Milanese, a lecturer in the CAS Writing Program.
One and done
After a successful regular season, the Boston University men’s tennis team was not able to capitalize on its No. 2 seed in the America East Championships, getting bounced in the first round and failing to end BU’s streak of conference-title futility since 1996.
Untouchable
It doesn’t get much easier than this for the Boston University women’s team. For an unprecedented 14th year in a row, the Terriers cruised to the 14th straight America East title and 18th in 19 years with a 4-0 sweep of No. 3 University of Maryland-Baltimore County yesterday at the Connecticut Tennis Center after sweeping No.
Mutch reaction
The Boston College women’s ice hockey team, fresh off its first-ever Frozen Four appearance, was seemingly on top of the world. The Eagles had just finished the 2006-07 season with a program-record 24 wins, just 10 losses and two ties, also collecting their second straight Beanpot victory.
Terriers split series against Hartford
Aided by, what else this season, the power of the home run, the Boston University softball team took two of three games from the University of Hartford (20-22, 10-7 America East) hitting back-to-back shots twice in this weekend’s series victory over the Hawks.
