A golden ticket
You don’t need to pay for BU sports tickets. Really, you already paid before you set foot in any arena on campus. That’s what your Boston University sports pass does, giving you a year’s worth of prepaid sports tickets for men’s and women’s hockey and men’s and women’s basketball.
Off the Post
While sweating out the move into your new dorm room this weekend, the heat and humidity probably pushed thoughts of upcoming winter to a distant corner of your mind.
A Foreign Game
A youthful Boston University men’s basketball team took to the hardwood in Kainan, Taiwan, for a little conversation in the international language of basketball and came home with more than just a championship trophy.
The dog year ahead
The 2007-08 Boston University sports scene features a mixture of seasoned veterans and highly touted newcomers. Four teams (men’s and women’s soccer, field hockey and men’s hockey) enter their respective seasons without a proven goalie, while the women’s ice hockey and lacrosse programs each boast a duo of netminders hoping to land the starting nod.
Terrier Card opens doors on campus
Each new Boston University student will soon learn that a 2-by-4-inch piece of plastic is one of the most important parts of living on Commonwealth Avenue. Each Terrier Card has the student’s name, picture and identification number and should be treated as a student’s prized possession.
