POITRAS: The sneaky steroid experiment

There’s been a lot of negative talk about steroids in sports recently, and I can’t for the life of me understand why. If you ask me, there is nothing cooler than steroids — they make you stronger and more awesome.

What is a plan without a leader to execute it? This seems to be the definitive question as Americans inch closer and closer to the presidential primary season. Candidate after candidate proclaims the superiority of his or her “plan” to bring America out of Iraq, mend social security and fix the educational system.

A letter to the editor that appeared in yesterday’s paper (“AB’s choice for vice chairman needs reconsideration,” p. 7) was signed with a name that cannot be verified.

LETTER: AB members are ‘nicest, level-headed’ people on campus

Often I’ll read something in The Daily Free Press and I think, “Oh, I should respond to that” but rarely do. However, when I picked up yesterday’s newspaper, I was extremely upset by a letter about the Allocations Board (“AB’s choice for vice chairman needs reconsideration,” p. 7).
