The top is burning
What’s got power, speed and poise? The top of the Boston University softball team’s lineup answered the call this weekend, helping the Terriers to a three-game sweep of the University of Vermont at the BU Softball Field.
UVM scores 3, BU wins 3
We’re going to win a lot of games if we only give up one run. That’s what Boston University softball coach Shawn Rychcik said after sweeping St. Peter’s College, 3-1 and 6-1, in a doubleheader last Thursday.
Transition problems were fixed, for one game at least
For the No. 11 Boston University lacrosse team, playing late into May will be a product of how well the Terriers communicate on both ends of the field.
One half was enough
The Boston University lacrosse team continues to steamroll over America East competition, with the latest win coming Saturday over the University of Vermont, 15-8, at Nickerson Field. The No. 11 Terriers broke the game open with 13 first-half goals before stalling in the second half to coast to the victory.
