BU show wins award
As Boston University’s debate show “On That Point,” begins producing its third season this fall, it will come armed with a new rhetorical weapon of its own after winning the 2008 Telly Award for excellence in student programming.
Hookah bars face uncertain future
Cigar and hookah aficionados may soon have to confine their puffs to private residences if a stringent tobacco ruling targeting cigar and hookah lounges becomes law.
CFA upgrades are underway
Slowly but surely, the College of Fine Arts’ facilities are becoming more refined. CFA students no longer have to stifle their creativity by working in a dingy basement thanks to “inspiring” renovations to CFA and its affiliated rooms, Visual Arts associate professor Deborah Cornell said.

The Boston University women’s soccer team, riding a three-game winning streak, plans to use its newfound momentum against the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and University of Minnesota this weekend in the Minnesota Gold Classic.
