In a news story last week (‘Audubon crash hits campus,’ Oct. 30, p. 1), the statement that there were no passengers in any of the vehicles involved is incorrect due to a false report from the Boston Police Department. There was a passenger in the white Mini Cooper who was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in critical condition. Two children were also in the backseat of the Mazda. They did not complain of any injuries, but they were transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for further evaluation.

In a news story Wednesday, (‘GOP has low hopes for Obama,’ Nov. 5, p. 1) the title of Peter Torkildsen was misstated due to a reporting error. He is the Massachusetts Republican Party chairman, not the Massachusetts Republican State Commissioner Committee Chairman.

In a news story Wednesday, (‘Income tax upheld; pot penalties cut,” p.1 ), the stated consequences of the Question 2 referendum were misleading. The question, which passed by a wide margin, decriminalizes possession of less than one ounce of marijuana. Crimes for growing, buying, selling, and driving under the influence remain the same.
