Boston University administration announced earlier this week the possibility of plans to combine such offices as the Registrar, Office of Student Employment and Office of Financial Aid. In the spirit of combining things for efficiency, The Daily Free Press came up with some additional cunning combos.

STAFF EDIT: In defense of dining halls

A possible new building on campus, the East Campus Center, is in talks by Boston University adminstration, the opening of which would call for the closing down of the dining halls in the three easternmost residences on campus, Myles Standish Hall, Shelton Hall and The Towers.

Yankee Wields a Violin Bow, Winning Boston Hearts at the BSO 

World famous violinist Joshua Bell performed his final performance on the Boston Symphony Orchestra stage Tuesday night with Brahms’ ‘Violin Concerto in D, Opus 77.’ The symphony brought power and the performances were accented by incredible harpists, clarinetists, flautists, percussionists and of course, violinists.
