Terriers lose to SBU, 71-55
The Boston University men’s basketball team found itself in a 13-0 hole in the opening minutes of its Saturday night contest with Stony Brook University at Pritchard Gymnasium. The early deficit would prove to be insurmountable.
Terriers jump out to 10-point lead and hang on to win
The Boston University women’s basketball team began the second half of its America East conference schedule against the University of Maine on Saturday. If the game was any indication, the season’s second verse could very well be the same as the first. The Terriers defeated the Black Bears for the second time this season, this time at Case Gymnasium by the score 56-49.
BU brings big-game experience into Beanpot opener
The Boston University men’s hockey team owns the Beanpot Tournament. Well, not literally, of course. But figuratively, yes. Just look at the stats.

Boston University men’s hockey coach Jack Parker’s post-game words haven’t had a particularly uplifting slant to them this year. More often than not, his press conferences have served as a public forum for the castigation of his team’s effort and ability to prepare itself.

Led by two goals from sophomore Ross Gaudet, the Boston University men’s hockey team rolled to a 6-2 win over the No. 14/15 University of Massachusetts-Amherst Friday night at Agganis Arena.
