STAFF EDIT: Google fail

As Google continues to reign supreme on the Internet, the blogosphere is abuzz with criticism each time it releases a new virtual product.

Rightfully so.

STAFF EDIT: Know thy neighbor

Early Sunday morning, five were stabbed outside of the Tedeschi’s at the intersection of Harvard Avenue and Brighton Avenue in Allston. At press time, one of the victims’ injuries had been fatal; another victim remained hospitalized. Mitchell Martinez, the 23-year-old resident of Allston arrested for the incident, lives among Boston-area students, including the many Boston University students who chose to live off-campus in Allston.

WHITING: Unfit for survival

I’m going to fail.

Now usually when I say that, people scoff and mock me, assuming I mean I’ll get a B, which they take to be near failing for me given my apparently incredibly high standards. I may look the part of “good student” &- always “studying” on my laptop computer, wearing glasses, books and newspapers surrounding me. But trust me this time: I’m in actual, grave danger of not passing my science requirement.

No rest for the weary

Rest, relaxation and a bit of chicken noodle soup are what most of the No. 20 Boston University men’s hockey team could use this weekend.

Softball travels to Charlotte

The Boston University softball team will kick off its season this weekend at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte Green and White Invitational.
