The alleged “Craigslist Killer” may now go on trial close to two years
after being arrested for his supposed crimes.
A hearing at the Suffolk Superior Court on Tuesday set Markoff’s trial datefor March 14, 2011. The trial was previously expectedto occur this month.
Markoff, a 24-year-old former student at the Boston University Schoolof Medicine, is accused of slaying a masseuse he met over Craigslistin April 2009 at the Copley Plaza Hotel. He is also accused of robbinganother woman in the same hotel. He has pleaded not guilty to allcharges.
