Green Line car derails at Packard’s Corner

A Green Line train partially derailed tonight after 9 p.m. as it was
pulling into Packard’s Corner Station, officials said.

Joe Pesaturo, MBTA spokesperson, said the second car of a two-car,
inbound B-line train derailed.

“Front wheels of second car only,” he said in an email.

No injuries are reported and the derailment is under investigation, he said.

A shuttle bus service between Washington Street and Kenmore Station will
be provided for passengers, according to an online advisory by
the MBTA.
