Campus Crime logs: March 12 – March 18

The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department from March 12 to March 18.

Spray paint found outside Kilachand Hall

Employees at Kilachand Hall at 91 Bay State Road reported on Thursday at approximately 7:04 p.m. that the rear door of the building had been spray-painted with graffiti. Additional graffiti was found on the Silber Way Footbridge. The incidents are currently under investigation.

Police fail to identify individuals allegedly smoking

Officers received reports of a large group of male and female individuals allegedly smoking marijuana around 910 Commonwealth Ave. on Friday at approximately 1:03 p.m. Upon arrival, officers did not find the individuals and were not able to make any identifications.

Teenagers found fighting in West Campus

Two male minors, aged 14 and 15, were found involved in a fight on Friday at approximately 1:16 p.m. on Braves Field Way behind the Match Charter Public High School at 1001 Comm. Ave. The males were found to be students at the school. Officers notified the principal of the school about the incident and turned the parties over to him.

$300 jacket stolen from FitRec

A 34-year-old male reported that his jacket, valued at $300, was stolen from the second floor of the Fitness and Recreation Center at 915 Comm. Ave. on Friday at approximately 5 p.m. The victim put the jacket down in the gym, but when he returned to look for it, the jacket was not there, he reported to police.

Male steals $152 headphones from RadioShack

Employees at the RadioShack at 730 Comm. Ave. reported that a male party took a pair of headphones, valued at $152, from the store Sunday at approximately 5 p.m. The male allegedly grabbed the headphones and left the store. He has not been located, and officers do not have a description of him.

Wallet stolen from unlocked locker at FitRec

A 19-year-old male student reported Sunday at approximately 8:37 p.m. that his wallet had been stolen from the second floor locker room of FitRec at 915 Comm. Ave. The wallet contained two credit cards and was taken from an unlocked locker. BUPD has yet to identify a suspect.
