Campus Crime Logs: Sept. 12 – 19

The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department from Sept. 15-19.

Heroine found in bag in Allston

A female student reported on Sept. 15 at 7:36 p.m. that she had picked up the wrong bag at John F. Kennedy Airport. The airline then shipped her a bag to 533 Cambridge St. The bag held two plastic bags of heroine. Boston Police responded and took over the scene.

Medical assist needed in South Campus

Officers responded to a report of three male students who were under the influence of hallucinogenic mushrooms on Sept. 16 at 10:45 p.m. at 860 Beacon St. The students were transported to the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for further care.

Students dispute at Warren Towers

Officers responded to a report of two male students fighting on Sept. 17 at 1:24 a.m. at 700 Commonwealth Ave. The students are roommates, and one felt that he was being threatened. The BU Office of Residence Life moved one of the students to temporary housing.

Shoplifting reported at Barnes & Noble

Loss Prevention staff reported a non-affiliated male party attempting to steal several pair of headphones from the Barnes & Noble Bookstore in Kenmore Square on Sept. 17 at 5:23 p.m. The party was stopped by staff and the merchandise was recovered. The shoplifter, however, fled the scene before officers arrived.

Illegal liquor procurement and possession at Star Market

Officers observed a male and female who were not affiliated with BU exchanging alcohol after leaving Star Market on Sept. 19 at 7:37 p.m. The male was underage. Both people will be summonsed to court.
