Softball is back.
While the Boston University softball team swept both the College of the Holy Cross and Dartmouth College this weekend, no player frustrated opposing teams more than junior centerfielder April Setterlund.
In its first weekend at home this season, the Boston University softball team kept its recent momentum rolling, sweeping doubleheaders with the College of the Holy Cross on Saturday and Dartmouth College on Sunday.
The Boston University women’s softball team used an 11-run first inning to streak to a 14-8 victory over the Harvard Crimson Thursday. Senior pitcher Megan Currier earned the win for the Terriers (11-10) after coming on in relief for senior hurler Cassidi Hardy to start the fourth inning.
A lot more than just the Charles River separates the Boston University and Harvard University softball teams.
