The Boston University wrestling team ended its regular season on a high note Saturday, earning its fourth win of the season against American International College by a score of 35-9. The win came mere hours after a 32-10 loss to Colonial Athletic Association foe Rider University. Both duals were held at Case Gymnasium.
The Boston University wrestling team has been riddled with injuries this season, so it should be no riddle why the Terriers suffered identical 28-12 losses to Brown University and Princeton University on Friday, and a 31-9 defeat against Drexel University on Saturday.
Although the Boston University wrestling team placed seventh at the Colonial Athletic Association Championships on March 7, it will send three athletes to the NCAA Championships for the first time in four years.
This past weekend’s home meet gave members of the Boston University wrestling team a chance to catch their breath and sleep in their own undersized dorm-room beds, as the team hosted just its second home dual meet of the season.
