The Boston University Student Union will be putting on its first-ever Academic Advising Fair tomorrow in the George Sherman Union, in what Union officials called an effort to bring academic information from all over BU together in one place.
Every BU school and college will be represented at the fair by advisors and faculty, according to the fair’s organizers. Between 30 and 35 majors and programs will be represented as well, they said.
The fair will be held in the GSU Small Ballroom from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The effort is mainly to bring students academic information conveniently, Union vice president of Academic Affairs Dave Bresler said yesterday.
‘We want to give the students an opportunity to have all their questions answered in one place,’ he said.
Bresler said advisors will be available to talk about anything on students’ minds, which could include school and college requirements, switching schools or majors and other specific academic questions.
