The following reports were taken from the Allston-Brighton District 14’s crime logs from Nov. 28 to Dec. 3.
Officers arrested three women during a prostitution bust at 141 Chiswick Rd. in Allston last Monday evening.
An undercover police officer called Manivone Khounviengsay, 27, who used the alias “Lee,” and asked to make an appointment. Khounviengsay asked several times if the solicitor was a police officer, which the officer denied. Finally, they agreed to meet at 6 p.m.
The officer arrived at the apartment 15 minutes early and rang the doorbell. Jessalyn Lago, 22, and Khounviengsay greeted him and told him to be quiet. Moments later, four police officers followed the undercover officer inside.
“Boston Police search warrant!” Detective John Joyce shouted, holding up his badge as officers streamed inside.
The officers told Lago and Khounviengsay to sit in the living room as they searched the apartment. When they opened the bedroom door, they found Hien Nguyen, 21, massaging a man’s legs wearing only her underpants as light music played in the background.
Police arrested all three women and confiscated various business supplies, including phones, printers, massage tables, condoms, sex toys and over $1,200 in cash.
Nguyen later told police Khounviengsay ran the business and she had worked for her for over a year.
CASHING IN
Police arrested a Brighton man after he attempted to cash almost $40,000 in false checks at Sovereign Bank in Brighton throughout the month of November.
A bank representative reported Thomas Morse, 21, to police on Thursday after he attempted to deposit a check for $19,000 from his personal bank account to his business account, held by Eat In Industries, although his personal account contained no money.
Morse made at least eight other transactions under investigation last month, including deposits of $10,000 and $6,700.
Officers found a second check also written for $19,000 on Morse’s person after searching him.
Morse said the bank mailed him the check and he wanted to deposit it.
A ‘PHAT’ CRIME
A 13-year-old girl attempted to rob an Allston resident Friday morning in an alley near the corner of Glenville Avenue and Spofford Road.
The girl, about 5-feet 3-inches tall, thin and clad in white pants and a black winter jacket reading “Baby Phat,” scratched, kicked and hit a woman and also attempted to take her personal items.
After attacking the victim, the girl ran down the alley toward Harvard Avenue.
Three other men said they saw the incident occur.
THEFT AT GUNPOINT
Four men robbed a Boston College student early Thursday morning as he was walking near 1933 Commonwealth Ave.
One of the four men, whom the victim estimated to be in their early 20s, all wearing backwards baseball caps, pointed a black handgun in the victim’s face and demanded his money.
The victim handed over his wallet containing $80 and credit cards, as well as his cell phone. After taking the items, all four men ran away in an unknown direction.
