This weekend was supposed host the Boston University softball team’s first game against rival Boston College. It was supposed to test the Terriers with five games in three days against three different teams, but thanks to Mother Nature and last weekend’s nor’easter that dropped about six inches of snow across New England, yesterday’s game against BC was postponed, as were the two remaining double headers the Terriers had scheduled with Central Connecticut State University and the University of Rhode Island. There is no makeup date scheduled yet for the games.
Off to their best start since 1997, the 15-6 Terriers will take the weekend off and hope the weather holds out for a double header at home next Thursday against Harvard University. The first game starts at 2:30 p.m.
