The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department crime logs from March 25-31.
BUPD received a report at 5:23 p.m. March 29 of three parties trying to jump through a window of the BU Boathouse at 619 Memorial Drive.
An officer responded to the scene and determined the parties were members of the sailing team.
The parties then walked into the Boathouse, which was open.
Gotta Have My Pizza Bites
BUPD received a report at 10:59 p.m. March 29 from a Late Nite supervisor claiming he caught a female party trying to steal an item in Warren Towers.
An officer responded to the scene and issued the female party a judicial referral.
Small Room, Big Trouble
BUPD received a report at 11:43 p.m. March 31 of a dorm party with underage parties in possession of alcohol in Warren Towers.
The parties were issued court summons.
To Steal or Not to Steal
BUPD received a report at 5:15 p.m. March 28 of a male party who was attempting to steal items from Barnes ‘ Noble at Boston University.
When the party was approached by an employee, he threw the stolen items at security and ran away.
Dicey Situation
BUPD received a report at 10:29 a.m. March 30 of a party finding knives in a room at 91 Bay State Rd.
An officer responded to the scene and issued a judicial referral to the owner of the knives.
Unlucky Number Six
BUPD received a report at 11:01 p.m. March 27 of five male parties on bicycles attempting to steal another bike around 117 Bay State Rd.
An officer responded to the scene and determined the parties were unsuccessful in taking the bike and had fled the area.
Potentially Dangerous
BUPD received a report at 2:17 a.m. March 31 of a disturbance involving five male parties with weapons outside 835 Beacon St.
An officer responded to the scene but did not locate the parties.
Foot Chase
BUPD received a report at 9:36 a.m. March 27 from the Boston Police Department of a foot pursuit of a suspect at the intersection of Brookline Avenue and Newbury Street.
A BUPD officer responded to the scene, assisted the BPD and eventually arrested the suspect.
Shocking Injury
BUPD received a report at 8:10 a.m. March 31 of an NStar worker who had suffered a laceration to his hand outside the College of General Studies.
The victim was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
