The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department crime logs from April 1-12.
BUPD received a report at 8:44 a.m. April 9 of a man and a woman inside the same stall in the men’s bathroom at Mugar Memorial Library.
An officer responded to the scene and issued a trespassing warning to each of them.
T-ERRIBLE FIRE
BUPD received a report at 5:20 a.m. April 6 of a fire between the inbound and outbound tracks of the MBTA Green Line outside Warren Towers.
The Boston Fire Department and MBTA Transit Police were notified. The BFD was able to quickly extinguish the fire.
LIGHTS OUT
BUPD received a report at 7:58 a.m. April 3 of a set of traffic lights out at the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and University Road.
An officer responded to the scene and assisted BU Academy students in navigating the intersection.
HIT AND RUN
BUPD received a report at 4:05 a.m. April 1 from a caller whose car had been sideswiped while parked outside 1079 Commonwealth Ave.
An officer responded to the scene.
GOT HER!
BUPD received a report at 9:10 a.m. April 4 of a suspicious female wearing a long, dark trench coat sitting outside the School of Law.
An officer responded to the scene and determined the female party was wanted for previous larcenies.
FAKE ID
BUPD received a report at 4:42 a.m. April 1 of a party in possession of a forged motor vehicle license at 120 Mountfort St.
An officer placed the party under arrest.
ONE TOO MANY STEPS
BUPD received a report at 2:04 p.m. April 5 of a female party falling down a stairwell inside Warren Towers.
The victim was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
JUST IN TIME
BUPD received a report at 7:40 p.m. April 2 of a vehicle blocking the alley way at 34 Buswell St.
The owner of the vehicle came out as the vehicle was being towed away and paid the tow truck service to release the vehicle.
UNO STOLEN WALLET
BUPD received a report at 11:03 p.m. April 5 from a female party whose wallet was stolen while she was at Uno’s Pizzeria in Kenmore Square.
An officer responded to the scene and took a report.
CAMPCASH
BUPD received a report at 9:29 a.m. April 6 from a City Convenience store manager claiming more than $250 worth of products were stolen from the Kenmore Square store.
An officer responded to the scene and took a report.
SCARY SPLINTER
BUPD received a report at 1:47 p.m. April 6 of a female party with a large splinter lodged in her foot at 157 Bay State Rd.
The victim was transported to an area hospital.
UNDERCOVER
BUPD received a report at 9:49 p.m. April 6 from a plainclothes police officer of three underage parties with alcohol at 1002 Beacon St.
The officer arrested the three parties for being minors in possession of alcohol.
SHE MISSED IT SO MUCH
BUPD received a report at 1:05 p.m. April 8 of a female party sleeping in the School of Law lobby.
An officer responded to the scene and determined the party was a BU alumna with business to take care of in the building.
CASH UP FRONT
BUPD received a report at 7:46 p.m. April 10 of a female party being sent cashier checks in the mail totaling more than $2,000 at 35 Buswell St.
It was determined to be a party offering her a job.
TARGET PRACTICE
BUPD received a report at 4:54 p.m. April 11 of a group of occupants firing a pellet gun out a window near the top-floor fire escape of 9 Buswell St.
An officer responded to the scene and investigated the situation.
WEST CAMPUS DRUNK
BUPD received a report at 11:45 p.m. April 12 of an intoxicated female party at Claflin Hall.
The victim was transported to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and issued a court summons.
