The following reports were taken from the Boston Police District 14 crime logs for the week of Sept. 7 through 14.
Police responded to a loud and disruptive party at 705 Cambridge St. on Sunday, Sept. 14. Officers estimated about 300 people were in the apartment, and when police arrived at 3 a.m., a fight had occurred outside of the building.
According to police records, participants at the party ignored multiple orders to leave the apartment and did not comply until more officers arrived to control the situation. Police said they believed alcohol was present at the party.
Police arrested seven people on disorderly conduct charges. The occupant of the apartment was arrested on charges of keeping a disorderly house.
PUBLIC DRINKING
Police responded to a reported assault at 1789 Commonwealth Ave. after midnight on Sunday, Sept. 14. Responding officers witnessed a large crowd of underage drinkers outside and inside the apartment. Police questioned the occupants of the apartment regarding the assault. The occupants responded that no one was injured.
Police then directed the residents of the apartment to turn their music down and have the underage drinkers leave, but the occupants refused. More officers arrived at the scene and called for all non-residents to leave. The residents became irate and argued with the police, resulting in their arrest.
DISTURBING THE PEACE
Officers received a call about possible gang disturbances near 25 Ashford St. at about 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13. According to police reports, officers witnessed a small group on the porch of 21 Ashford St. who fled after seeing the police. More people were believed to be inside the house.
Police heard loud music and talking coming from inside the house, and officers suspected alcohol was involved. Police repeatedly requested that those who did not live at the apartment leave the premises until three women remained. The three were reportedly under 21 and were arrested on charges of being minors in possession of alcohol and disturbing the peace.
ARMED ROBBERY
An armed robbery occurred at the Store 24 at 1219 Commonwealth Ave. in Allston about 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14. When officers arrived, they found two employees and one customer in the store. All three were ‘extremely upset,’ according to the incident report.
Witnesses described the unknown suspect as a black male, about 6 foot 2 inches tall, wearing a winter hat and using a silver revolver. Video surveillance cameras did not have tapes in them at the time, so no footage was taken. Officers searched the surrounding areas but found nothing to help with the case. Estimated losses were $100 to $200 and the incident is still under investigation, police reported.
