Just a quick question about today’s editorial entitled “Silber Balances Out B.U.’s Overwhelming Goodness.” The first sentence of the article seems to have been lifted from yesterday’s opinion piece written by Chris Coval. I have only read the online version, so it is possible that quotations, or proper citations were inadvertently excluded. Hopefully that is the case since it would reflect very poorly of a COM student to forget to properly quote someone else’s writing. Also, a mistake such as that would not help the rambling and non-sensical argument that is put forth in today’s article. It is quite humorous that the best things that could be said about B.U. is that fire alarms aren’t pulled five times in one evening and the students are allowed to meander along a path of academic indecisiveness at a cost of $30,000 a year.
