The following reports were taken from the Boston Police Department’s District 14 (Allston-Brighton) crime logs from Sept. 26-Oct. 3.
An undercover police officer arrested Kristen Burrows, 19, the night of Oct. 12 for prostitution in Allston in a sting as part of the ongoing investigation on the massage and prostitution business in Allston-Brighton.
The undercover officer called a listing on craigslist.com for a “sexy petite blonde — 19” and arranged to meet Burrows, who identified herself as “Victoria,” at a Burger King on Brighton Avenue.
After waiting for her call, the undercover officer once again placed a call to the same number. Burrows asked for an extra 10 minutes to place a new ad from the PC Café on Harvard Avenue.
The officer walked to the PC Café on foot and saw Burrows, wearing a white tank top, on the computer through the window and placed a third call to confirm her identity. He observed her pick up the phone before she asked for another five minutes.
Burrows finished placing her ad from the PC Café and then entered a Ford sport utility vehicle. Fifteen minutes later Burrows called the officer and asked him to pick her up in front the café. The undercover officer pulled up to the curb and Burrows opened the door.
“Hi! Are you a policeman?” Burrows asked.
“No, are you?” the undercover officer responded.
Burrows hopped in the front seat of the officer’s car and directed him to a local playground. After arranging to receive oral sex for $75 plus tip, the undercover officer placed Burrows under arrest and confiscated two cellular phones, a condom and $360.
“I’m doing this to help out my sister in jail,” she said. “I needed $6,000 to get her out.” There’s something about jimmy An unidentified man carrying a handgun threatened and assaulted a Brookline resident as he walked home through Brighton early Friday night in an attack that left the victim confused.
The assailant, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and distinguished by a triangular face and buzz haircut, approached the victim as he walked down Brainerd Road and pointed a black handgun straight at him.
“Are you Jimmy?” The assailant twice asked.
“No,” The victim said.
The assailant pulled out a cellular phone.
“M.J. wasn’t Jimmy,” he said before quickly hanging up the phone.
The assailant told the victim he was an undercover police officer before fleeing towards Harvard Avenue but showed no form of identification. BC Party Broken UP Police broke up a Boston College party on Wallingford Road early Sunday morning and arrested Joseph Mackey and Henry Gabriel for underage drinking and keeping a disorderly house.
Officers entered the party after responding to a complaint to find between 50 and 60 people drinking Busch Light beer and other alcoholic beverages from red cups. Partygoers dropped their beverages and ran as soon as they saw the policemen enter the apartment. Mackey and Gabriel were later identified as the owners of the apartment.
