It’s not the easiest thing in the world, getting situated as a freshman. But, as time goes on, the scene becomes familiar, the room right, the people, comfortable.
Marisha Schumacher-Hodge has moved in. Completely. The freshman on the Boston University women’s soccer team has settled into America East Rookie of the Week for two straight weeks now – this week for her assist on the Terriers’ only goal against New Hampshire. She’s started 16 of 17 games this year.
Men’s soccer’s Roland Erlichman took home Player of the Week, after scoring a goal in each of BU’s wins last week. Last year’s leading scorer just returned from a leg injury.
Holly Wiles, after netting both game-winners for the field hockey team over the weekend, is the co-Rookie of the Week, her second award this year.
