Food, The Muse

Best of

Bar Menu: Joshua Tree
With pool tables and big screens galore, Joshua Tree is a great place to order wings and enjoy the game. Their huge menu is reminiscent of T.G.I. Friday’s and doesn’t make this place a Thursday-only spot.

Breakfast: Herrell’s Allston Caf’eacute;
While known for its ice cream, Herrell’s Allston Caf’eacute; also serves up a great breakfast. Standard items like French toast and eggs come alive in this alternative environment.

Dessert: Fun Food Snackery
Having just won Boston magazine’s Best of Boston Allston Neighborhood Sweets Award, Fun Foods Snackery is a must try. Ice cream burritos, crepes and snow make this colorful gem too inviting to pass by.’

Italian: Carlo’s Cucina Italiana
Romantic, traditional Italian eating makes Carlo’s Cucina Italiana a popular secret. And, even better, rather than having to take the T to the North End, Carlo’s Cucina Italiana is right in BU’s backyard.

Tea: Black Ruby Tea & Coffee
Black Ruby Tea & Coffee used to be a Lollicup franchise, and you can expect pretty much that. Bubble tea is the big draw, but there are other drink and food options as well.

Thai: Brown Sugar
Yes, Brown Sugar is a little expensive, but it’s the least greasy Thai food around. Its overwhelming menu is sure to please everyone, and the dark d’eacute;cor makes it a great date spot.
