Campus Crime Logs: Jan 26-30

The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department Crime Logs from Jan. 26-30.

Disorderly conduct reported at 871 Commonwealth Ave.

A male student reported on Jan. 26 at 4:31 p.m. that while he was using the bathroom in the College of General Studies, he saw a cell phone that slide into his stall. He tried to confront the other man, who left without speaking.

Suspicious circumstances at 985 Commonwealth Ave.

Officers responded to a possible threat at BU Marketing and Communications on Friday at 9:21 a.m. A female employee reported receiving an email in Spanish and believed one of the words in the email was “bomb.” After officers checked the building, they determined there was no threat.

Defaced property at 1047 Commonwealth Ave.

Officers responded at 10:57 a.m. on Friday to a report of vandalism at 1047 Commonwealth Ave. An employee reported finding a tag spray-painted on the southeast corner of the building.

Woman struck by hockey puck at 925 Commonwealth Ave.

A non-affiliated female was struck in the head by a hockey puck in Agganis Arena Saturday evening. BUPD responded at 9:04 p.m. The woman was treated by EMTs and released. She would seek additional medical care on her own if necessary.

Drug possession at StuVi II

A Residence Life staff detected odor of marijuana from a 33 Harry Agganis Way room at 1:30 a.m. on Sunday. Upon entering the room, Office of Residence Life discovered one male student and three non-affiliated students with marijuana and a grinder.
