The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department crime logs from Nov. 2-5.

Wellness check requested for student in Warren Towers

A caller from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania contacted the BUPD on Thursday at 3:53 a.m. to request a wellness check on their friend at 700 Commonwealth Ave. due to concerning statements about mental breakdowns and giving up. An officer located the subject, who was determined to be safe.

Ongoing harassment at Metcalf Science Center

A caller reported on Thursday at 9:35 a.m. that she had been being harassed since September at 590 Commonwealth Ave. by a male party known to her.

Dean requests wellbeing check on student

BUPD received a call on Thursday at 12:56 p.m. from a dean who requested a well-being check on a student at 1079 Commonwealth Ave. Officers made contact with the student, who was reported to be fine.

Stolen bike found in South Campus

A caller reported on Friday at 5:35 p.m. that she had found a bike she reported stolen two years ago at 46 Mountfort St. A BUPD officer collected the bike and took it back to the station.

Concern over U.S. Census worker at on-campus apartment building

BUPD received a call on Sunday at 7:12 p.m. about a suspicious person on the fourth floor of 580 Commonwealth Ave. who was claiming to work for the U.S. Census Bureau. Officers determined the person’s credentials were valid.
