Ad ignores ancestors of black massacre

I offer congratulations on the guts it took to print David Horowitz’s ad, but I’d also like to address a related issue. I’m not as Conservative as Mr. Horowitz — I am a Democrat, in fact. In this case, however, I agree that reparations are not justified. I don’t feel it necessary to repeat Mr. Horowitz’s fine points, but I would like to point out that the real outrage with regards to reparations is that the victims of the 1921 Tulsa Massacre have not gotten more money.

As should be widely known, an entire generation of African American families were annihilated by whites in the Greenwood district of Tulsa. Generations (about 300 lives) were lost, as well as the “Black Wall Street,” as the business district was known. So the United States should cease congratulating itself about the $150,000 per person “reparation.” What a joke.
