The Texas Knife Wound Massacre

The following reports were taken from the Boston Police Department Allston-Brighton District D-14 crime logs from Oct. 9 to Oct. 31.

Officers arrested a man identified as ‘Mike from Texas’ at the intersection of Kirkwood Road and Radnor Road in Brighton at 3:10 a.m. on Oct. 31. The victim was stabbed in the left side of his abdomen and was able to identify the suspect, who was walking along Radnor Road. ‘Mike from Texas’ turned over his knife and was arrested.

WOULD YOU LIKE FRIES WITH THAT?

An officer responded to a report at 1:45 p.m. on Oct. 26 about an assault on Harvard Avenue. An unknown woman and man approached the victim and his friends and began yelling at them. The victim was punched in the face and kicked in the leg and chest area upon escape. The suspects threatened him and kicked broken beer bottles on the ground at him. The victim ran to McDonalds and called the police.

TECHNOLOGICALLY SHATTERED

An officer responded to a radio call concerning a motor vehicle break-in at 1444 Commonwealth Ave. at 5:23 a.m. on Oct. 9. The victim’s car was parked outside on Oct. 8 and found the passenger side front window shattered and GPS and digital camera stolen.

I SMELL TROUBLE

An officer responded to a Boston Fire Department fire alarm call concerning the improper storage of hazardous materials at 416 Cambridge St. at 3:00 p.m. on Oct. 28. BFD Hazmat Tech Specialists responded to tenant complaints of gasoline odors emanating from the rear storage area. Upon search, the suspect was ordered to remove flammable/combustible material within five days. ‘

WAIT, I THOUGHT THIS WAS DECRIMINALIZED?

An officer arrested a man for intent to distribute and possession of Class D drugs at the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and Lake St. in Brighton at 10:38 a.m. on Oct. 28. The suspect was stopped at the traffic light with an expired inspection sticker. Upon search, the officer discovered a suspended driver’s license and a large bag of green leafy substance believed to be marijuana, and arrested the man.
