Campus crime logs: 3/28

 The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department crime logs between March 19–22.

Theft, assault at Engineering Library

A male student reported a female colleague had taken his belongings while studying with him at 44 Cummington Mall on March 19 at 11:50 p.m. He reported she played it off as a joke, and when he got upset, she allegedly assaulted him before attempting to steal his items again. The victim stated she had since left the premise when an officer arrived to collect her information.

Armed robbery at Ashford St.

BUPD was notified Thursday at 1:38 p.m. to be on the lookout for a 21-year-old black male suspect with a female passenger driving toward Ashford Street in a white Honda sedan with New Jersey license plates and a Zipcar logo. The suspect, who is unaffiliated with BU, reportedly stole $2,800 armed with a 9-millimeter gun.

Shots fired by BB gun

There were reports of malicious BB gunshots in the window of 138 Mountfort St. at 5:55 p.m. Thursday. The case is still active.

Public demonstration on BU Bridge

An officer reported a peaceful protest of 20–30 participants outside the Peter Fuller building Friday at 4:45 p.m. There was no hazard to traffic.
