Campus crime logs: March 28 – April 1

The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department crime logs between March 28–April 1.

Narcotics investigation at StuVi I

Callers reported a vaping device that may have contained CBD oil on March 28 at 3:59 p.m.

Suspicious vehicle in front of Blue State Coffee

A silver vehicle was reported honking its horn for several minutes in front of 957 Commonwealth Ave. at 1:18 a.m. on March 29. The driver was attempting to locate a friend, and another friend arrived to assist.

Free hugs advertised on signage

Three students were reported holding a sign that read “Free Hugs” near Marsh Chapel on Monday at 3:07 p.m.

Car accidents without injuries

Multiple callers reported two motor vehicle accidents between Commonwealth Avenue and St. Mary’s Street at 6:34 p.m. Monday. BUPD handled the case, and BU Facilities Management and Planning was called to assist with cleanup on the sidewalk.
