Campus Crime Logs: Nov. 10-12

The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department crime logs from Nov. 10-12.

Hydrogen gas alarm triggered at Photonics Center

The department of environmental health and safety reported a hydrogen gas alarm at 8 St. Mary’s St. at 12:21 a.m. on Friday. The Boston Fire Department and Boston Police Department were on the scene. There was no audible or visual alarm in the building, according to the report.

Caller reports gas odor at department of mechanical engineering

A caller reported the presence of a lingering odor of natural gas for the second day in a row at 110 Cummington Mall at 6:29 p.m. on Saturday. The caller returned back to the area to help locate the odor, but the search for the odor was negative.

Resident assistant finds marijuana in Towers

An RA at 140 Bay State Rd. reported at 11:42 p.m. on Saturday that several students were found to have marijuana in their rooms. The RA stated her protocol was to inform the BUPD for destruction.

Intoxicated person transferred to BMC

Building security at 512 Beacon St. reported an intoxicated person in the lobby at 2:39 a.m. on Sunday. Medical services transported the person to Boston Medical Center.
