The Boston University women’s softball team’s four-game series against the University of Maine was cancelled this weekend.
The games, BU’s first America East contests of the season, were to be played on Saturday and Sunday at Malvern Field.
The rain last week left Malvern and other nearby fields unusable.
The games will be rescheduled for a later date.
Next on the schedule for the Terriers is a doubleheader against the University of Rhode Island on Tuesday, March 27 at 2 p.m. at Malvern.
