At approximately 2:10 a.m., police came upon the suspect in front of 81 Parsons St. in Brighton. Police reported they saw the suspect leaning on the hood of his gray Volkswagen Jetta, and the suspect allegedly told police he needed medical attention, complaining of neck pain. At this point, police reportedly noticed his speech was slurred and his eyes were slightly glassy. The suspect was then informed he would be charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

The suspect was later identified as Gregory T. Harris of 82 Cleveland St. in Arlington. A bartender at the Sports Depot allegedly did not require Harris to produce an ID before purchasing beer. Police charged Harris with underage possession of alcohol, and the Sports Depot received a license violation for serving alcohol to a person under 21.
