doe investigation

i’m not writing so much to get published as i am to maybe get the freep to write an article. i am confused about the doe investigation, and i think that i speak for many students when i say that. ok, so ms. roslonski and ms. horner want the doe to suspend federal funding to the university. i get that. heres what i dont get: if the university is discriminating against females, i definatly believe that the university should be punished. but not the students who attend the university. wouldnt suspension of federal funds then take away much needed loans and scholarships from students who desperately need that extra help, like me? so why punish the students? i didnt do anything wrong. i dont discriminate against females, i am one. and i dont discriminate against males. heck, i dont consciensously discriminate at all. i just dont understand the whole issue. what exactly would the repurcutions of a bad judgement from the doe be? how would that effect students? should we be preparing to lose our financial aid? and if a sanction from the doe does punish students, why would ms. roslonski and ms. horner want to do that? are they out for vengance? thats just not fair to the rest of us, excuse my whiny complaint, but its true. cassandra krone cas 04
