Elliot Levy’s Column

As I’m sure Mr. Levy intended, I was deeply offended by his comments about how a female President would react to the country being attacked. Who is he to say that a “bold…[response] with a strong show of force” is necessarily the best policy? Would an emotional response be so bad? Would our country truly suffer with a President who made decisions based not only in logic, but also emotion? Perhaps her emotion would cause her to weigh her options, rather than impulsively engaging in a wild goose chase. Perhaps her emotion would force her to consider all possible courses of action before capriciously going to war without the support of her friends.
